Laser Genesis 

Laser Genesis is my go-to-biggest-bang-for-the-aesthetic-dollar-complexion laser.  This soothing service provides a global re-freshening of the entire face and neck. Clients are thrilled with their results, since many patients are looking for more affordable, no-downtime treatments that really work. It is a multi-purpose, all season, all skin type solution for overall skin health.

• Cutera’s 1064 nm wavelength, combined with our patented microsecond technology, protects the epidermis, targets microvasculature and stimulates collagen production to improve the appearance of wrinkles production.

Laser Hair Removal

Hair removal is still the #1 requested aesthetic procedure. My philosophy is to make certain that clients have exactly what they need to make their investment productive – above all, with satisfaction and safety.

Cutera has been the pioneer in establishing the “all skin type” hair removal practice. With years of experience behind it, safety, versatility, efficacy and speed – this laser platform has it all.  Cutera’s multiple hair removal devices include Alexandrite, Diode and Nd:YAG treatment modes – for all skin types. Lori will help you decide which type will work best for your skin and hair type. We’ll work together to decide at what interval your hair grows and base treatment scheduling based on that information.

Spider Vein Removal for the face, chest, and legs

Small broken capillaries (veins) on the face or nose can be caused by many things, but the likelihood is that almost all are genetically predisposed. Many clients will complain about them as a complication of rosacea, following a cold or sinus infection, or simply with age. Small red “dots” are in the same family. All of these can be easily removed with very little discomfort and no downtime.

Leg veins require slightly more energy to collapse, but can easily be treated with 2-3 treatments spaced about 4-6 weeks apart. Using ice and proper cooling, clients compare the sensation to a slight rubber-band snap, but nothing that lasts.

Intense Pulsed Light (or photofacial/IPL)

This light-based procedure addresses problems right at the skin’s surface – redness, mottled complexions, freckles and sun damage. There is no down-time and this is the go to laser for brown spots or pigmented lesions for skin types I-III.

In all fairness, Lori’s personality and un-diagnosed OCD has most likely been the stimulus for her treatment style and over-all practice philosophy. Lori has all of these laser modalities at her fingertips and has found it incredibly restrictive to schedule one type of service per visit. If Lori is treating you for laser genesis – but identifies the need for a small broken capillary to be removed, she will most likely not send you out with this broken vessel disrupting your results. She’ll remove it (with your permission, of course). Same price, same day. Everyone wins!
